To: Mort, James - James P; Milton Bullock
Subject: Possible Wheat Straw & Grass Seeds?

Hello Mr. Mort / Lowe's GM:

This is Princeville's Commissioner Bullock with small request of a couple of items that would complement our landscaping project currently in progress.

We have begun to beautify The Freedom Hill area (1st traffic light) by removing under/over grown wild plum trees. While we/Marvin are on the project; we are need of grass seeds and wheat straw for couple of trees that are ready to landscape.

Could you help us out with these items? The town of Princeville would be so appreciative. Thanking you, Lowes, and the TEAM for the support in our recovery projects. __________________________________________________________________________________________________
"As an update from the awesome work rendered by the Greensboro's Ladies group and their "WOMEN OF THE WORLD's Day of Service" to Princeville was that catalyst that jump started the whole cleanup project! The men that accompanied the Ladies group along with 'The LOWE'S Ladies Team Leadership of Pamela Whitaker just took it to another level! Mr. James Mort GM of the local LOWE'S has been a supporting source for Princeville since taking over the leadership role at the local LOWE's Department Store! The Princeville residents at-large couldn't thank him and his crew of ladies enough for their support during our recovery!

The requested 'wheat straw and grass seeds' will help beautify that special historical section of Princeville. FYI. This identical spot all the way up to the Tar River Bridge was the original "Freedom Hill" location that some of the original 1865 Freed Slaves made their decision to incorporated in 1885 as Princeville. Hopefully with smooth sailing; we may consider erecting a Memorial of the name sake of one of the founding Fathers, (the late) Mr. Richard Turner Prince and his wife Sarah and their 3 children somewhere in the vicinity on "The Freedom Hill" site! This acomplishement could be developed into a prominent Historical Point of interest for the local as well as the visiting guests anticipated to visit Princeville, NC!

K.A.B. (Keep America Beautiful Program based out of Rocky Mount, NC-Ms. Corneila McGhee (Director) has accepted an invitation to come and assess how KAB could enhance the overall cosmetics of Historical Princeville. We're just gratefully thankful for all the help we've received during our recovery from our crisis of Hurricane Matthew. God bless all of you and may He continue to bless Princeville; as we pray in faith for mercy and resiliency while we recover after the various storms that's subjected to cross our paths."
